After looking back, I was disappointed in the Cruise because of a very bad experience on our first excursion. The tour company totally ruined this experience by not being prepared. The MAIN attraction was to be Pearl Harbor with a 1 and 1/2 hour stop which turned out to be a 20 minute stop just before the park closed. No time for anything there. Was supposed to be a 7 hour tour, the driver and guide was adamant that it was 6 hours and if there was time, we might make it to Pearl Harbor. SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 1st STOP. We were refunded 50% of the cost by Carnival. That should have been 100% refund. Once that excursion was ruined there was no way to make it up. Main purpose for this cruise was ruined.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was pretty much as usual for Carnival. Steakhouse Specialty Restaurant was memorable and very good. Beautiful setting for this ship.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not a lot of special events for this many days at sea. If you like the Casio, seemed like it never closed.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Entertainment was new shows and very good. Comedy Club was Rey tntertaining. Felt the entertainer in the Piano Bar was subpar.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Probably the best part of the cruise was the hospitality and service of all these personnel that made it very pleasant.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very easy access.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was a nice size as well as the bathroom. Huge balcony, the size of 3 normal balconies. When the adjoining balcony (same size) door was open it was massive.
Ship tip
Plan your dinner around show times. Dinning Room is at the back of the ship and the Theatre is at the front of the ship.
Would have been awesome if the excursion we purchased through Carnival would have been as described. Refunded 1/2 of the cost but should have been 100%.
We rented a car and had a great self guided tour with the help of the Gypsy App for Maui. Incredible App. Turned out to be the best day of all. Make sure to see the Crater on Haleakala Volcano at 10K feet elevation. Drive and views were awesome, dress warm.
Very interesting. Ship sponsored excursion started out very bad, missed the original Bus because of Carnivals poor debarkation plan at this Port. Eventually got another Tour Van, for our small group with VIP Treatment for the same tour. Also a full refund for our group for this tour.
