Great Cruise! Enjoyed All the Sea Days before, and especially after to relax after a Busy 6 days in Hawaii. The Catalina Island port was a Great Addition to the Cruise.
We had to have a Negative COVID Test 48 hours before we Boarded. They gave us another one while we were checking in, and another several days into the Cruise. We also had to wear our Mask in All Public areas of the Ship. They also provided KN95 Mask during the Cruise. The Crew reminded You if You Forgot in a Very nice and Polite way.
We felt very Safe and Well looked after.

Holland America has the Greatest Crew, Stewards, Waiters, Excursion, Customer Service of any line we have been on. Hard Working, Cheerful, and Kind. (No Question is a Dumb Question) They really try and solve any problem.

This is our second time on the Koningsdam. The only thing we noticed is some on the Lido Chairs seats edge needed recovered from wear and tear. A very Minor problem. Everything else looked great.
Enjoyed the Art Collection. We went up every deck to see the Art.
Love Deck 3 outside Teak Walking Deck. Used it every Day.

Less Closets than we had in previous Verenda Rooms. They used up one with the Refrigerator, which is usually by the Desk, and of Course the Much needed Safe. Probably our Fault, as when they changed Ships from the Eurodam to the Koningsdam, we didn't check the room.
Ship tip
Don't forget the Dutch Cafe. Best Split Pea Soup and Almond Cookies. My Husband loves the Cream filled Boules.
We embarked at this Port. Lucky enough to Book a Hotel across the Street from Ship Dock.
We were able to walk to excellent Restaurants as well as do a little sightseeing.
We didn't Realize Midway Museum, was across the Street. We could have used another day.
Arizona Memoria, and Mighty Mo the First Day. Taste Oahu's North Shore with a Delicious Shrimp Lunch. We got a Great sample of Oahu. A place to come back to.
We visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Great Excursion. Steam Vents, Barren Lands next to Green Pasture. Visitor Center Closed because it is on the Verge of Falling in.
With the Day and Time change we were only able to do Wailua River Cruse and Fer Grotto, as the Grand Canyon was Full. Our excursion I would give a 3, but the Island itself was Beautiful, and would have loved the 8 Hour Excursion that would have included much more.
Looked Beautiful with all the Lights, but since we didn't get there until 8:00pm. and had to be back on Board to sail by 11:30pm, we didn't get off the Ship. We enjoyed the Excellent Step One Dance Company (Musicology) on World Stage, and then packed, as Bags had to be out by Midnight..
Stayed on Board until 9:45. Breakfast at Lido and waited on Deck 3 until our Color was called. Cleared Customs and picked up our bags and a short Cab ride to Airport for Afternoon FLight.
