may avoid HAL which kills me since we own stock in cck but cutbacks in mdr need to be addressed. food is important!!!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
considering had to get another test at port after doing 2 days before ram very well and fast
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
food in all pay restaurants was excellent plus except the italian. the italian was a bit bland on taste which is strange because the others all are very well spiced. the food in the main room was borderline awful. the word slop was used more than once. they do very fancy names with mediocre results. filet mignon was tuff every time. 25 days on cruise $11000 paid and lobster tail 1 time. HAL no longer does tail on 7 day cruises. new surf and turf is 2 shrimp instead. 3 times we did not even bother with mdr and just went to lido. Go to coffee shop for dessert, cream puff’s are incredible
Onboard Activities

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
as good as it gets i think. as good as cunard. they can be proud of their employees
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
very clean. ship seems over crowded and thinking of number of peeps on board i can’t imagine when full.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
very clean. mattress was hard and lumpy as only down
Ship tip
go to coffee shop. treats are free but coffee is extra
The ship was great and the service outstanding other than disembark. The food was the problem and not on the ships end. It’s corporate so to speak. I have been on enough cruises to see the difference and don’t think I should have to accept less and no other cruiser should have to accept less either. While stop sail was in effect we did 3 all inclusive on land and that may be how we go for awhile. It kills me to say that because we own carnie stock and it is down.
