Good Baltic Sea cruise. Wish it is a 12 days cruise and visit additional ports by pctlu99

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Getaway / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Love the Latin Express playing in Tropicana while dining . Overall we enjoyed the cruise.. I wish the ship will stop at additional port such as Norway and Amsterdam and make it a 12 days cruise The beverage package should include specialty coffee, can soda, fresh juice and water

Not likely to take another cruise with the QM2 by reddragon1148

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

As a first experience we might have been better off picking another cruise line. The QM2 tries to be a bit stuffy (dress code etc...) and it apparently does attract a much older crowd. The Norway landscape was beautiful and this was a nice way to experience the key parts of the country...on a ship vs driving.

Fantastic vacation! The weather just perfect, and beautiful ports to explore the past history. by Cruiser14795542

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

I'm not one a lot of words, but it was a great experience. The ship was well staffed and organized something very important for a cruise that long. The staff was very helpful, and had many activities available for us.The port excursions were fantastic. We are thankful to gone on this vacation. Thank you for your support groups on board.

A trip with a lifetime of memories by robinnbob

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

thanks for the memories. The ship was mainly a place to stay and eat. With 9 cities we were constantly on the go. Eating breakfast and dinner on the ship. We were impressed with all the staff. generally The food was average except for the specialty restaurants, they had the better food. Cruises in the past had better types of food in the main dinning areas, there was not a need to go to the specialty restaurants. Only one of the ports was a tender operation. 2 or 3 of the ports required you to be bussed from the ship to the main gate, this was slow.

Wonderful cruise around the British Isles. by phoebe626

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Pacific Princess / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

The cruise was filled with events that will keep you occupied. Weather turns out to be great when we reached a port. Onshore excursions were well organized. However, our tour bus was trapped in traffic getting back to the pier at Dublin. Several lanes of traffic were merged into one lane only thus causing us to be late by as much as 30 mins. However Princess was excellent in handling this situation. They telephoned the guide and waited for us. Exciting trip.

Excellent food in all dining venues. Poor service in main dining room because it is understaffed. Entertainment quickly deteriorated during the week.

Sea of people! Great itinerary, but way too crowded. by easteps

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We loved the itinerary, and the cruise offered us a great opportunity to visit these ports. However, this cruise ship was too crowded, and the cruise line did not seem particularly adept at managing crowds. For example, when people were wandering around with food looking for a place to sit (buffets), a staff member should help direct guests to available seating. Also, the lines during crowded times should be managed in such a manner as to promote efficiency and discourage arguments between guests.

River cruise is ideal trip by Smprout

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: River Royale / Destination: Europe

Very enjoyable vacation. Especially liked Uniworld boutique style ship with less passengers than most river cruises. Highly recommend Uniworld river cruises.

Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Really said above - very disappointing as the passengers were as a rule rude and refused to followed posted rules and thecrew refused to enforce them.

Disappointing Princess Experience in the Baltic by RCraigM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Very disappointing experience. Princess charges a premium over it's peers (Celebrity Holland America) but does not deliver a premium product. Ship design limits chances to enjoy the views from an inside space. Staff is not customer focused and inattentive.

Fabulous cruise by Cruiser15517817

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Caribbean Princess / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Once again, wonderful crew and excellent service. Very organized, even when we had to delay arrival into a port, our excursion was re-scheduled to a later time and ship left later. Loved the ports, the scenery. People were so friendly. This is a great vacation to see the British Isles!

Good size ship; Great ports; Fantastic Show; Wonderful experience would repeat this cruise. by BusyCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Civilized clientele. Guessing 50% Europeans (mostly British), 40% Americans and Canadians. 10% from other continents. Mostly couples and young families ages 30s-60s. Some young kids but not too many for an August sailing. I would do this cruise or a similar one again.

pleasant trip by llkone

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Being a proponent of less populated cruises, I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative, while it really didn't impact us, was the limited number of deck chairs around the pool and the lack of umbrellas for shade. We found deck chairs removed from the pool area, up against a wall of the ship in the blazing sun. We lasted about 45 minutes and returned to our own balcony.

Family cruise with Norwegian by Arnaudandfamily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Getaway / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Cruising is a very good option to tour the Baltic capitals as most capitals are within a night's sailing distance. Norwegian Getaway offers good value for money for this tour. Amenities and entertainment are fewer than on larger ships but the onboard experience is more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour for families.

Excellent! by BethanneN

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

One of the best vacations we have been on. The ports are intersting and offered many beautiful choices. It is hard to just pick one thing to do, knowing you will miss other things. there are far more excursions available ship board than the ones offered on line. I recommend grabbing a few before you go and booking the rest as soon as you get on board Sunday.

good until the end by cookiedou68

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

The food and entertainment were great as well as the service we received from our room steward and the servers in the restaurant. however the service we received from the guest service desk left us embarrassed and angry for even asking for help.

A nice trip with a bad ending by annieeedou

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

It is generally a nice trip while my wallet was stolen the day before. Unknown in board or outside of ship since I was just left ship and be ready to get into the bus while I had found it was gone. Staff in ship think it was not happened inside, so, they believe it is normal. Anyway, they were not helpful and had never understand the issue. I believe they will understand it better if they were also stolen. Learning from expertise !!!

great sights to visit by lidanersesian

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Meraviglia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The amenities and ship were top notch. Food quality and variety needs improvements. should have a system that passengers can communicate with each other with telephone. When we didn't havce cell service,m it was difficult to find each other. a lot of time was spent walking around, looking for one another. The automated screens and tv system for reservations and booking was not too user friendly, glitchy ( would get stuck, not responsive) I wasn't able to check if all people in my party were included in reservations and none of the employees had access to help me. Spent too much of my leisure time on that.
