I thought the ship was well maintained. I didn't see obvious signs of wear and tear.

Just Fabulous by CharlieV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The seven-day cruise onboard the Constellation at first seemed adequate to cover the six ports of call. Yet with each port the plethora of sights and experiences found our heads awash with delights. There is no practical means of exposure to any one of these cities. Each would take a lifetime of immersion. We arrived a day before the beginning of the cruise in Barcelona. From the airport, an arrangement for a guide to explore Barcelona began at pickup. The four-hour experience provided a significant insight into the delights of this lush, historic and large city. Although exhausted from the flight (30 hours total), we forced ourselves to get some great photos ending the day with dinner and flamenco dancing. The following day we toured the Gothic area on foot with a visit to Picassos museum. The Constellation, having recently undergone a complete overhaul, presented itself exquisitely. The staff was well versed in their duties to provide a welcome. We had chosen to upgrade to the Concierge Class stateroom found a bottle of Champagne, fruit and a nice balcony. Our every need was met ahead of the thought. We were awakened by a phone call announcing the arrival of coffee and fresh fruit (our breakfast order). Each moment of our experience found new wonders. The challenge is the length of the time for a historically rich environment. But if your time is limited, as was ours, the experience was more than exceptional.

Wonderful Experience by CindyC8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Costa Pacifica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Costa Pacifica carries its music them through out the ship. It is bright, colorful, lively, and very entertaining. The cruise director and young people working with the activities make an effort to include all people and the fun they are having is contagious. The food was delicious, even on the the self-serve buffet lines. For the most part all of the staff that we encountered were charming except for the Tour/Excursion desk crew. They were rude and rushed people around so that we ended up on the wrong bus and tour once and would not work with us. Overall, very nice experience.

Cruise in Italy by BobA2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

American Airlines boarded us on a plane in New York that they knew could not fly until the engine was fixed. Sat on runway for 3 hours before taking off. Flight back was two hours late and we missed our connection. Cruise ship was nice but denied our $100.00 shipboard credit even though we had it in writing. They referred us to AA tours but we could not get through on the phone. Will never book a trip through American again. Otherwise everything else OK. We had a good time. Just remember that Celebrity Cruises will not honor shipboard credit from travel agents. Even with written email verification.

The cruise was disappointing. by RickH2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Costa Concordia (RETIRED) 548 / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We were very disappointed with all of the smoking. Smoking was allowed in the state rooms - we have been on over 10 cruises and never experienced so much smoking. There were usually lines in the buffet and the early seating was too late at 7:00 pm.

great cruise by RosellenS

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was lovely, the boarding process painless. The food in the non extra restaurants was OK, not great. The pay per restaurant was much better. The cost to just get into Rome and Florence was a bit high. The pool was wonderful, the Spanis guitarist great and no one should ever get a stateroom without a balcony. Room service was limited, but prompt. Overall a great experience

Amazing Carribean cruise ! by MarcB3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We sailed on the Voyager of the Seas between Sept. 12-19,2010 The ship has many amenities and is well kept. The quality of the food in the dining room could be improved. At times, bland, other times way too high on sodium and more than often, was served lukewarm... The Windjammer has a great variety and we actually had dinner there a couple of evenings and were very impressed. Service on the ship is excellent and our stateroom was always refreshed and ready for us upon return to the ship. This cruise is highly recommended!

Cruise nice/food awful by JimS5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was our first cruise. Would I take another cruise? Absolutely, yes. Would it be on Norwegian? Absolutely not. The food was awful. Fish was overcooked, dry and fishy tasting. Souffles were served with raw egg at the bottom. Hamburgers tasted like they were pre-cooked and re-heated. Eggs Benedict were served with hard yolks. I could go on but you get the point.... We arrived in 2 ports 1/2 hour late which affected our excursions. At Cinque Terre we were supposed to go to 4 of the 5 cities, we only got to 3 with no apologies from the ship.

A very relaxing cruise by JohnW36

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The food on this ship was excellent. To be precise, it was the 'Garden Cafe' that was the most impressive. We ate at four of the specialty restaurants (with an additional cost) and each time walked away wondering if we got our moneys worth. And, each time we then toured the 'Garden Cafe' and found ourselves wishing we had eaten there instead. We both enjoy cooking, making fine meals, and this cafe inspired us a number of times. The best example I can give is on the last dinner they served suckling pig among other main courses! We had a balcony stateroom and found it just right. The balcony seemed to be a little larger than other cruises. Also, the bathroom was just right, the shower and toilet were closed by glasses doors so very good privacy. The biggest disappointment was clothes washing facilities. There are none. So, you have to use the ships laundry service which is very expense. Overall, we would like to sail again on Norwegian but only if the boat has a public laundry facility.

Relaxing and Civilized! by DavidG10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Equinox / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

For a ship of this quality to not have outstanding speciality restaurants and excellent main dining is a shame...otherwise, the ship was great. One recommendation is too make sure smokers are aware of the very limited opitions to enjoy their habit--especially cigar and pipe smokers. They almost forced you to smoke in a life boat towed behind the ship! They could have improved the shore excursions and eliminate the special buying stops for handicrafts and wine unless specifically directed to that kind of shopper.
