Amazing Carribean cruise !

Sail Date: September 12, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We sailed on the Voyager of the Seas between Sept. 12-19,2010
The ship has many amenities and is well kept. The quality of the food in the dining room could be improved. At times, bland, other times way too high on sodium and more than often, was served lukewarm...
The Windjammer has a great variety and we actually had dinner there a couple of evenings and were very impressed.
Service on the ship is excellent and our stateroom was always refreshed and ready for us upon return to the ship.
This cruise is highly recommended!

Pros: Itinerary and excursions; the staff on-board are very attentive to your total satisfaction!

Cons: High cost of drinks

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Rome, Rome , Rome! the Vatican was too busy the day we were there and we only spent a couple of hours there...
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Too short to do Pisa and Florence although some did. We only did Pisa. We then spent the rest of the afternoon on the ship relaxing.
Naples, Italy
Stay away from Naples ! It's dirty and full of pick-pockets. We took the full-day excursion to Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii. We still dream of that amazing day!
Don't Miss: Capri ! but if there's only one place you can visit, make sure to visit Pompeii.
Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
We took a guided tour of Monaco and Monte Carlo. Beautiful places indeed ! Would have loved to see Nice, but again, time is fairly limited to fly through these places.
Toulon, France
Took a guided tour by motorcoach to Marseilles. Very nice excursion, but very little leisure time to visit.
