Never doing Greek Isles Cruise again by mrscrodriguez

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

The cruise overall was good but seeing as this was 1st time in Europe I totally do not recomend to go by cruise as you don't see much & always feel rushed as you arrive too late or leave too early for non Royal Carribean coordinated tours.

Great overall experience. Good ports and nice ship. Being latin my only complaint is that the Latin band was terrible.

Norwegian Epic Failure by olegr50570205

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic

The overall itinerary is decent, but the ship was terrible in every way, and the cruise was verry poorly organized. Also, not sure if this is due to the ship or that it was sailing in Europe, but it did not feel like a typical NCL experience. From service to food quality, it was a huge disappointment. Maybe a sign of the times.

Wonderful Cruise by TJCCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oosterdam

This cruise was a perfect sampling of the ports visited. We did all port days on our own, so cannot speak to the cruise line excursions. However, you will save money doing the tours on your own for the same experience. All the ports felt safer and more comfortable than expected for our first visit to Europe. We have cruised Carnival in the past, and were pleasantly surprised by this Holland America cruise. Service and food was excellent, the cruise director (Erin) was fantastic and engaging. Definitely different from the Carnival experience in some ways, but NOT and older crowd. We had many families, kids, and 20 somethings on this cruise so the diversity of the demographic was a very pleasant surprise! We would do it again!

Greek Isles/Ephesus/Mykonos/Santorini cruise by Lovenlife123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

We went during peak season. There were a lot of people everywhere, but we were expecting that so it was no problem for us. It was also August so outside was hot! We were also expecting that. Do you like ancient history? There's a lot of it here. No need to book excursions with the ship. Book with . We did both and was superior. Far less people... 10 or less. Flexibility, etc.

Outstanding Mediterranean Cruise by mdamiecki

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Ascent

We enjoyed our cruise. We chose the ship since it was newer and had the itinerary we were looking for and we were not disappointed. Although we booked two interior rooms, other people in our party booked a veranda and I highly recommend that if possible. The ship is beautiful and we never felt crowded.

Graduation Gift Cruise by amypaynter

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

Graduation cruise that my high school graduate selected. Prepare for Rome to be extremely hot and heavily crowded in July. Also, in Santorini, prepare to wake up extremely early to get in line if you plan to get off the boat and explore.

Good introduction to Greece & Croatia by dawnsmith1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Explorer of the Seas

Overall we wished we selected a cruise date that would have been less crowded with less children. We also now know that sea cruising days offer few activities for adults unless you want to pay extra for ship tours, spa treatments, etc.

Great Caribbean Cruise by GELL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Explorer of the Seas

Overall, our cruise experience was very good. The food options on ship could be improved. Some of the shore excursions need to have more accurate descriptions.

great introduction to Europe by priceline674954

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

This was a great cruise ship and ports. I always wanted to see the Coluseum and Pantheon in Rome, as well as the Parthenon in Athens. We enjoyed all the ports and one day at sea was perfect to explore the ship's activities. We were not able to enjoy pool-side movies because there were very few seats where we could actually see the screen and hear the movie. Of course those few seats were always taken. Carnival does a better job with pool-side movies.

Great Experience! by AmiPor

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

The crew was great & the food & service was wonderful. My only feedback is the ship is getting old, the decor is dated and also all of the nickle & diming on everything is a bit much. Would rater a flat fee & include most things.

Very nice cruise by drmackay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

We had a great time. Best experience we have had on any cruise for initial boarding and final exit. The staff was exceptional at responsiveness and service. Main dining room food was excellent. Ephesus was the highlight stop on this itinerary.

Nice Locations. VERY HOT!! Average cruise experience. by TravelMomof5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Viva

We had a great time at most of the ports. It would have been better to have more/better options at Nice. And I would love to have skipped Santorini and done a different port. The ship was beautiful. The food was average. We did really enjoy it. I think we all regretted not booking a better cruise line.
