Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Pelas, our cabin steward, made sure all of our wants were taken care of. Noms is a terrific casino host. We especially enjoyed Lina, Putu, and Ketut, our wait staff in the MDR.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was kept clean. Cabin for 3 was a bit disappointing, but navigating the ship was easy.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The mattress on the sofa for the third person was not very comfortable, and there wasn't a single shelf in the cabin to store clothes; we had three desk drawers and the closet, which is not much for an 11 day cruise with 3 people sharing the cabin. Two of us had to keep clothes in a suitcase under the bed.
Ship tip
Excursion information is not always accurate or clear. Some non-celebrity tenders were very difficult to access for mobility challenged people.
Aside from the resort which we were told costs celebrities more than $3,000/night, we visited two beaches and a small monastary, with a brief break for olives and bread. The island is a desert.
Not what I expected. Never saw a single blue dome. Took the cable car after a long wait. At the top of the mountain, streets are very narrow, lined with small shops, and jam packed with tourists.
We arranged to stay an additional day after disembarking, and were surprised at how accessible ruins are. We stayed in a very small boutique hotel downtown, on a pedestrian street lined with shops, restaurants and hotels, and it was terrific (Athens City View Hotel). We could see the Acropolis from the top floor, and the hotel owners also own the adjacent restaurant, which was great.
