Caribbean - Southern Cruise Reviews

We have been to the Caribbean many times on cruises and just prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet on the boat. Some of the excursions are too long in the heat at our age and we don't like it when we are not parked at a pier. We generally only get off for an hour or so.

Celebrity standards have gone down a bit since the last time we cruised with them. Ship was a bit outdated, severely limited options for TV, even pay per view, (simply archaic compared to Holland and Princess free entertainment options). I probably wouldn’t go on this cruise again for the price. We’ve been on other ships we enjoyed much more for half the price.

Cruse was good except for the lack of vegetarian choices

First time trying Holland and was excited. However, Holland’s culture of doing just enough, along with frequent missteps, chaos and focus on the cruise line vs passengers made it feel like a low-budget first time cruise line. “Rotten”dam. Do not recommend.

Great cruise to relax on. Perfect for a honeymoon or a couples get-away. Very few children onboard. Cruise lines mainly draws senior citizens.

Overall, it was a nice 11 day get away. The ship was older and needs an upgrade but it got us to the ports on time. Also it was not to crowded (60-70% full) a week or so before Christmas which was nice.

Good overall. We liked the ports that were full days.

Overall, I was disappointed in the level of service from Holland America. I would have expected exceptionally service from everyone on Holland; what I thought was more of a high-end cruise line. I was wrong! Due to this experience on Holland America, I will not be a repeat customer of Holland, nor would I recommend Holland to friends or family.

I appreciate my cruise on this ship , I love the design of the ship and the personal do is best , before I was terrified cruising on a very big ship like that but I was very surprised that was a very good cruising

All good except the last day we got jam on the gangway for an hour to exit.

Again, this is my third trip on RC and my last...was lied to, given inadequate cabin and the disembark was an unmitigated disaster, which might have resulted in people getting hurt in the rush. The ship is just not up to the RC standards. The Guest Service personnel were very condescending as they lied to us. This was a terrible experience overall

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy cruising. Harmony of the Seas only enhanced our mindset on enjoying this method of travel. From the moment we set foot on the ship until the minute we step foot off of the ship we felt comfortable and relaxed. A big thank you to the entire crew of Harmony of the Seas.

The ship is very nice but the crew made it great! I was so impressed I am already looking for another cruise on this ship

This cruise was one of the most relaxing we have done in a while. The ports of call were nice. Princess cruise food is only mediocre. Princess also had a glitch in their medallion app and we kept getting charged for things we should not have been charged for. We had to keep looking at our bill and getting it fixed. That was frustrating. Also, the shore excursions are very unorganized .no order and getting off the boat and ran late.

Overall, the cruise was wonderful. There are some problems that need to be reviewed and solutions enacted. The problems may stem from post COVID19 workforce issues seen everywhere. I still recommend sailing with Royal Caribbean, and will continue to do so in the future.

Overall cruise was all that we expected and more. Only compaint I have would be wifi package. Wifi was very slow and could not watch TV on it. Our first night on board we watched a 45 minute show and it took a hour and a half because of all the buffering.

Need to add more activities. It’s to old for young and middle people.

Very disappointing ship food, beds, very little alcohol in mixed drinks for price. Better on islands. Great to see all ports but better to do all inclusive or go to island for what trip cost.

Overall, I was very pleased with this cruise. The quick pace of an island a day was exciting. The ship and crew were excellent.
