Review summary

Again, this is my third trip on RC and my last...was lied to, given inadequate cabin and the disembark was an unmitigated disaster, which might have resulted in people getting hurt in the rush. The ship is just not up to the RC standards. The Guest Service personnel were very condescending as they lied to us. This was a terrible experience overall

Food was fine

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Games were too drawn out by activities people who wanted all the attention on them

No children in our party

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Room Steward was very abrupt and almost argumentative to start....was better the closer we got to tip time

First of all it was nor spacious in any way shape or form! It was advertised as a three person cabin. It was barely able to hold two. We tried to have one of us move to an inside cabin and was told the ship was full... an outright lie. The room has only two outlets for three people...since they want us to use their app, this made it hard for us to charge our phones for daily use....and there isn't anywhere else to charge our equipment on the entire ship! They say the ship has been "amped". Not sure what that means but it certainly doesn't mean the cabins

Ship tip

If you book this ship, be prepared for a very ordinary experience

Absolutely a disaster!!! Told us we has to be out of cabin by 8am....ship wasn't cleared by then so hundreds of people were jammed up on Deck 4. It took over an hour to get off the ship

Sounds like most of your issues were your own fault of not doing enough research beforehand. We sailed on her in August and had a great time!

Sorry you had such a bad experience. Research of the ship would have showed that the ship was not amped due to Covid. It is scheduled for that at the beginning of this coming year. It’s an older ship so there are few plugs in the cabins compared to the newer ships. We brought a portable charger as well as a plug that we could charge multiple phones and iPads on it. We knew that because of the research we did about the ship. Ships are all sailing at almost full or full capacity and if there were cabins available they would have offered you one at the prevailing rate.

Sounds like you like you are a first time cruiser that was not prepared or did any research

Not sure why they would lie if you wanted anotner cabin , that would be more money for them.

Cruised with Royal Caribbean 3 times but surprised by a small cabin and lack of plugs in the room?

Should’ve said explorer of the seas. Same class.

We loved the adventure of the seas. Unless you were getting a suite, never travel with more than two adults in any cruise cabin.

Sorry you were disappointed.
