Not a good experience by faulkner5140

First of all it was nor spacious in any way shape or form! It was advertised as a three person cabin. It was barely able to hold two. We tried to have one of us move to an inside cabin and was told the ship was full... an outright lie. The room has only two outlets for three people...since they want us to use their app, this made it hard for us to charge our phones for daily use....and there isn't anywhere else to charge our equipment on the entire ship! They say the ship has been "amped". Not sure what that means but it certainly doesn't mean the cabins

Nice ship with great crew by drtadepec

Cabin itself is nice, but our balcony remained flooded for 2 days and then had to be cleaned. Each time it rains the outflow plumbing would back up. With this problem, the upgrade to a balcony was disappointing. Cabin 6348

Very enjoyable cruise by tonyzal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Explorer of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Compared to the newer "higher end" ships like Celebrity, our Explorer cabin was much better. The new ships have cabins that are quite claustrophobic, with insuifficient space to store clothes - so we end up living out of our suitcases which have to be stored under the bed. Explorer, an older ship had more space, larger bed, generous storage cabinets and drawers. The bathroom and shower were also larger so I didn't bang my elbows in the shower like I usually do on the newer ships. Much more comfortable experience than the newer "higher end" ships!

I'd do this, again!! by WendyDouglas

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Explorer of the Seas / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

The room is a nice sizzle as long as you only want to fit two people. It was a real squeeze with four people. I believe they have other rooms that would more easily accommodate 4 people, but going through a travel agent, I did not know. Hands down, the balcony was well worth the extra expense.
