Wonderful and relaxing cruise by aprilm0129

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Vista

It had been 13 years since we cruised and this experience was wonderful. Hope to cruise with Carnival again. Grand Turk was our favorite port and it was absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful cruise by Trilysta0911

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Great design and layout with each deck purpose having served its purpose ie, Central Park, Boardwalk, Promenade, etc. The sailing was at max capacity, for the most part didn't feel very crowded with exception around the pool areas and during the New Year celebration (expected)

Good and bad by jing4776

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Viva

Viva new concept for layout, but too small of areas for qty of people on board that exceeded area capacities. Who wants to wait an hour in a line to get into a small club?

BE AWARE by Cruisemaster12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

For people that have cruised before. FYI They don't clean your room twice a day anymore. Now they only go once a day. They use to give water/drinks along with wet cold towel when you were coming back from the port NOT ANYMORE. They dining options have changed. It is unfortunate to see how the cruise industry is changing. They are cutting back on many amenities. Other than that the boat is a beautiful with a lot of thing to do.

Ok Caribbean Cruise by adocadrian87090

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

My comments above sum it up. I would not get on this boat again. I may use Royal Caribbean again after I make sure I read all pertinent reviews before I book a cruise. I was on Carnival, Holland America and Celebrity and they were far superior in all aspects.

It should have been better by KR8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Jewel of the Seas

An okay experience but disappointing that we had 4 excursions booked with Royal Caribbean that were cancelled on us. My advice is to use TripAdvisor to get the experience you want on your island visits.

Norwegian viva experience by vishmai78

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Viva

We enjoyed the ship and our trip. Hope cruise can offer better onboard activities and entertainment options. They need to use their theater as there is no atrium on the ship

Self Service All the Way by tezdon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Nieuw Statendam

The food always looked great, but the looks did not match the taste. It was mostly bland unless you ate in a specialty restaurant. I would try to get set seating in the main dining room, vs getting the Dine as You Wish. If you do get the Dines as You Wish option, make sure to make all of your meal reservations as soon as possible. Waiting until you get on board did not serve us well. If you bring your own water bottle, be aware that there is only one water station on board. The water is warm and the ice maker next to the water machine was mostly empty. The line to use this station was always long. Service in the buffet eating area was sparse at best. The As You Wish Dining experience turned out to be "go to the buffet". We also had the drink package that included drinks at $11 and under. This was mostly true, although it didn't work in the buffet. It ended up being a hassle because it slowed down the process of ordering and is something that I would not purchase again. The ship was in the middle of switching out their liquor supplier, so many of the specialty drinks in the bar menus were unavailable or were substituted with other liquor. For those of us who have cruised prior to Covid, the post-Covid experience is just not the same.

Christmas Family Trip by 1Cruising0001

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

This cruse ship is small and old. That being said the staff was amazing when it came to the room, restaurants, bars and cafes. The room attended was much better than the one we had on the harmony. Our disappointment came mainly with port staff and shore excursion staff. Lastly the ship rocks a lot as it does not have the stabilizers like newer ships. We made out well on deck 4 but there were lots of people with motion sickness patches on.

Christmas Cruise by SummitCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Symphony of the Seas

We had terrible weather the first three days of our cruise resulting in heavy seas and forcing 6000 adults and children to stay indoors. Can't blame the weather on the cruise line though. Internet and drink packages were very expensive and we gave them a pass. Lots of extra cost possibilities on board. Not exactly all-inclusive. Still had a good time overall.

Perfect Caribbean cruise by PrashantMaharaj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Symphony of the Seas

The cruise experience was overall amazing. The staff were perfect and very pleasant. I would like to thank Sylvan, Renalyn and Nabila from the main dining room. Reneeta from photography and Arnold the room attendant as well as all the people who I sadly don’t know their names for contributing to a lovely experience.

Beautiful Ship for Cruising by GeorgiaCruiserR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Viva

Overall Norwegian Viva is a beautiful ship. The rooms truly felt like hotel rooms. However, the constant long lines at the buffet were a major disappointment.

Ports were GREAT, ship not so much! by hgavend

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

I would not recommend the Jade for more reasons than I had listed. Our previous cruise on the Bliss was fantastic with amazing staff. Hard to believe there is such a difference. The ports were wonderful.

A very nice itinerary.Celebrity cruise the service in the dining room was great by khemingway1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation

My friend that was going to travel with me. Didn't come and by the second or 3rd day. I need you to systems in a wheelchair because I've had a knee surgery. In august when the ship was rocking, I was in a lot of pain.. Whenever I needed someone to push the wheelchair to go to breakfast, lunch dinner or to the spa. They were very gracious and sending someone to assist from the steward department. And from anywhere where I was dining or the spa. All they had to do was call down to have someone come back up and take me shock to my room. I'm not sure how they take care of the numbers for your luggage tags, but that's how your departure order is. And I was in a wheelchair and I came down at 7:25am because they said iship would be cleared at 7:30am. I thought i was going be able to go off at that time. My luggage tag was number 26 this ladt number. I didn't get off the ship till i was the last one sitting in the room in the wheelchair. I'd had a knee surgery and I couldn't walk a distance The gang plank so by the time I got my Uber and got home.It was almost 1pm and I hadn't had breakfast or coffee because I thought I was gonna be going off. By the time I realized OK 730 Two places serving food were going to be closing. They only open for like an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours in the dining room and the buffet on departure morning. So Please be aware of that. Check with them at guest services and say. What time will I be departing so that you for sure? Go to breakfast if you're not walking off independently. I was also shocked to see how many people that need assistance in mobility like with a wheelchair or a Walker were carrying their own luggage off instead of checking it. So when they got down to the terminal, where there's a person that takes you if you're in a wheelchair in the terminal, because crew has to hand you off cause the Celebrity. Personnel can't take you to the terminal and push you all the way to the curb. It was kind of congested under those circumstances. I would recommend to celebrity that if people are going off with an attendant at the very most that they could have a handbag or a small backpack to sit on their lap. No Carring your own luggage When you need assistance from someone on the crew. The rule is, if you're in a wheelchair crew must take you down there, but gain plank. Not your friend, your partner or your spouse or any other rson that had traveling with you..

Nice get-a-way crsise by tjreddingtonsr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

Nice get-a-way in winter months. Norwegian does a good job when it comes to service, the food was pretty good, entertainment was fair to good (based on other NCL cruises), ship was nicely updated. Only four hot tubs on deck, always full of kids and old folks. They did not stop at their own island in Bahamas and only compensated passenger's $40 for that. Expect higher mandatory tips then on other lines at $20/day per person or more for better cabins. Cruise director is not a native English speaker. Overall a good experience.
