Viva new concept for layout, but too small of areas for qty of people on board that exceeded area capacities. Who wants to wait an hour in a line to get into a small club?

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Main dining great, specialty restaurants with tablet menus had learning curve, buffet ok, but doubled as thoroughfare to main pool.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Infinity pools good, until packed, infinity beach poor, as shallow water became toddler refuge. Race track fun, but took up all of stern (NCL replacing tracks w water activities on Aqua, good. Viva Beach (paid area) not available to us due to overbooking, thus only adult only pool area not available and underused by subscribers. Smart Mini golf not working, do free “dumb” golf.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Most large and small shows were great, but main extravaganza beetlejuce (sp) was big fail due to tech issues and was cancelled for cruise.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

Good service, great attitude
Ship Quality

Interesting new design, flow left a lot to be desired in several areas. Walk thru buffet to access pool, typical flow thru atrium required zagging thru chairs next to Starbucks, large Haven area (not us) required aft cabins to walk to midship for stairs and elevators.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin ok, but noisy over aft areas. Although we booked forward facing cabin 11700, found that somewhere in process NCL “upgraded” us to aft cabin 10348, without explanation and not until 1-2 weeks before departure did we realize did not change room description (all good???), only changing room number, which we didn’t catch. Only noted change when we added NCL airport transfer and saw “upgrade” single line comment on NCL docs. Very disappointed, especially after Viva cruise was lift and shift after 2022 Prima Iceland cruise was cancelled.
Ship tip
Never book St Lucia boat excursion. Single boat landing was chaos for dozen boats (from deep sea fishing to catamarans to small shuttles. Long wait and close collisions over and over.
