Great cruise for families by sonyarcutcher

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Sunrise

While we did have a great time, this was our kids first cruise and it was overly crowded. Made things a little tough at times especially finding seating for meals.

Good Time by fatampalace

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Venezia

Overall, we had a good time on this cruise. One recommendation would be to have more variety in the buffet. Also, it would be nice to have more non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the day. Also, the internet package was a little too expensive.

Relaxing cruise experience by darlenevnorris

Wonderful cruise. 10 days is the perfect length. Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay are really nice and I would definitely visit these ports again.

Much Needed Getaway by msteetalley

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Venezia

We loved the ship it is very beautiful. We went to rest and get a change of scenery and we were able to accomplish that. we really enjoyed the library area along with the games they supplied. so if you wanted a area to hangout w/o a lot of activity you can find it on the ship besides your room. I would recommend this cruise to anyone.

First Cruise in 20 years! by drysdale99

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Vista

Overall we had a wonderful time, we went with 16 family members and had no major hiccups. Takeways were the food in the main dining room could be improved slightly, announcements need to be offered in more ways than just over a speaker where you miss important information if you are in your cabin at the time. There needs to be more signs by the elevators pointing you to main areas and there were a lot of slippery floors.

Christmas Present: Santa or Krampus? by christmascruisn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Vista

This cruise was a Christmas present for the family and it was great time we spent as a family but between my parents unable to get any sleep at night ( due to an extremely loud room) and then being gaslit by guest services and also the terrible food situation we are looking forward to a redo with another cruise line. We were so grateful to see so many beautiful places but I think in the future we will be a little more wary.

Not so great Caribbean cruise by karyni

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

We probably won't do NCL again. We had average expectations, as we hadn't cruised in awhile. (This was my birthday trip). The entertainment was good, venues were small. The drinks were good. Poolside entertainment was poor. It was stressful when mealtime came and we had to worry about food being hot. We think we might try Princess or Celebrity next time.

Good time for a lower level experience. by DeserttotheSea

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Magic

We had a really good time on this cruise. The price was good, but as with most cruises, additional costs add up. It's a good starter level cruise, but if you've sailed with other lines, you will be aware of the differences.

Overall great cruise. by jmay21161358

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Vista

Overall we had a good time. I would definitely go again, but I think some service improvements could be made. Also my travel agent promised distilled water to be waiting in our room and we ended up having to purchase it, even though we told several people it was promised.

A cruise so fun... we've already booked it again next year! And the amazing Memorial Day Weekend airshow over South Beach as the ship was sailing away made it even better! by djdarzvle

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Magic

**** The ship? The Magic is a nice ship, but a little too big for my taste. Lots of food options & places to hang out like Ocean Plaza & Red Frog Pub. Would like to have a sports bar option. **** The staff? We loved CD Frankie. We loved Georg our shopping insider. And we loved our MDR server team Jerome, Chandra, & Jay. GG & Stephanie were also super helpful in the Effy store. And really enjoyed interacting with Jayla the server while on Half Moon Cay. **** The room? The cabin wasn’t clean when we boarded, but by the next day everything was cleaned up thanks to our cabin steward. **** The destinations? Fantastic destinations of Amber Cove, Grand Turk, & Half Moon Cay. I will gladly go back to all these ports of call. **** The port? Man, I wish Miami was closer… Such a great cruise port, 3 great stops on a 6 night cruise, perfect weather and the absolute smoothest Atlantic seas I have ever experienced, a fantastic early summer cruise!

Fantastic Family Vacation by tde1204

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Fantasy

Fantastic experience and we enjoyed every day of the cruise. The days at sea - yes the pool area is busy however wide selection of activities and places to relax. So good to have day at sea followed by day in port. Recommend that one books an upscale experience while in port. We went on a 50' catamaran trip in St. Thomas - snorkeling. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Overall fantastic and looking forward to returning.
