Review summary

Fantastic experience and we enjoyed every day of the cruise. The days at sea - yes the pool area is busy however wide selection of activities and places to relax. So good to have day at sea followed by day in port. Recommend that one books an upscale experience while in port. We went on a 50' catamaran trip in St. Thomas - snorkeling. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Overall fantastic and looking forward to returning.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent and went off super easy Was impressed by the timely embarkation experience and efficency of the operation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I was very impressed with the selection of dining room and the food choices / offering. Like eating in upscale restaurant every night. Our servers - Freddy and LRoy provided over the top service and on our next cruise we plan to request them as our servers. Best service we have ever received.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Great selection to chose from.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Family loved the plays that they attended. Highly rated.

Children's Programs

N/A since children were only at the kids club for 30 minutes. The club looked great however so much to do on the ship - they chose to be outside the program

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff very friendly and efficient. As noted above - our two servers - Freddy and LRoy for dinner service were fantastic. Loved the three-restaurant rotation that was provided. Wide variety of food and multiple choices.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Takes great deal of care / dedication to maintain ship in the manner in which it was.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Initially looking at the 299 square foot size - i thought oh oh this will be a challenge. However, with the verandah and lay out of the room and the ability to convert to bunk beds in part of the room - worked out great

Ship tip

Good ahead and book the trip and have no reservations at all about booking Disney cruise. You will be impressed. Only issue / challenge may be that yes the Disney cruise designed for all ages however the pools are relatively small in size as compared to number of the larger ships operated by other cruise lines.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Very clean and well run operation. Have been to a number of ports and this one by far - very modern and efficient

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Typical small island port. Lots of choices in the stores..

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
St. Thomas similiar to Tortola only larger selection

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
Very well organized and ample area for all guests. Suggest - make friends with bar tender on the ship that will be at Castaway Cay and find out where they are stationed and get seating close to that location

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Was extremely surprised. Thought this will be a nightmare getting off the ship and going thru customs. However super smooth and efficient and actually got to our transportation one hour prior to what I thought we would.
