Mackie and I had a wonderful cruise. It was his first and my second. He had been to Alaska before but I had not so we both experienced firsts. The cruise was great and we were able to completely relax and let everyone pamper us. The scenery was breath taking.

Overall we had a great time, and really enjoyed the ports. We have cruised in the Caribbean many times, so this was very different and new to us. We would definitely cruise Alaska again in the future.

The cruise was beautiful and everyone was polite, except for one waiter by the name of Nilo. He was the wine server and was very unprofessional and made rude comments! We are very laid back people so for Nilo to bother us, you know it was not good. Other than that ONE bad experience, they all were wonderful! I rate it on a scale from one to ten a TEN!! We will recommend it to our friends and family! Thank you! If we ever take another cruise it will be with the same line! Jennifer and Robert Zabavski

had a great time. definitely recommend to anyone. in past we did Norwegian cruise for Norway. we will try to do another cruise in different location in near future.

We enjoyed our cruise and entire staff was great. It was very enjoyable seeing the ports we had not been to before. The use of the beverage package and specialty restaurants was an added treat.

Never again! This SUN is not shining anymore. August is one of the most rainy part of the year, but this is not the result. The ship is shaking without waves. The food is boring and tasteless. Our cabin was noisy and the bed was bad.

We went on this cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were a little disappointed that our special event was not recognized. Our overall experience was very good. The last day on the cruise was Hubbard Glacier. Our captain took the ship very close to the Glacier which was awesome. Our suggestions for improved food were well received, however, the crew cannot do much without the cruise line listening to comments. The land portion exceeded our expectations.

Overall cruise was a great experience, the ship could have had more amenities or been more modern, but the staff and service was great and Alaska speaks for itself, just beautiful scenery.

Had an amazing time and wish it was longer! It rained a lot but it really didn't matter. The views and people were great! Everything I expected! The crew on the island princess was amazing!! Very professional and very nice ppl. Natalie the cruise directors assistant was amazing and deserves cruise director!!

Cruised Alaska with my elderly father. Don't miss glacier bay, and head north to Anchorage after. Be sure to have alternative plans for rain days if you don't like getting wet.

We enjoyed our Norwegian Sun cruise, especially the friendly and energetic cruise. The food was great too, especially the Le Bistro & Cagney's. Everything was nice.

Excellent cruise with astounding views of glaciers and mountains. Highly recommended although I would go in May or June when there might be less rain.

This was my first cruse. It was very good over all. I had a great time. Food was amazing and the service was second to none! I would suggest this cruse to everyone. The staff could not have been nicer!!

A nice, relaxing cruise. It was a definitely an older crowd. We're in our 30s and we felt like some of the youngest people on the ship. So don't plan on partying all night on the cruise.

Overall a good cruise on an older ship. However, the buffet is nice but boring and the formal dining is just plain bad. Go for the itinerary as it is hard to create and manage on your own. The ship provides ample time at ports to enjoy and have an adventure.

I would skip this cruise line for the next several years at least, when traveling with my family. If you don't have young kids with you and enjoy drinks, you should consider this cruise line.

Itinerary ok, but ship was out of date, and weather rainy most of the days. We had a much enjoyable time last time we cruise the Inland Passage, perhaps over 20 years ago.
