Review summary

Overall cruise was a great experience, the ship could have had more amenities or been more modern, but the staff and service was great and Alaska speaks for itself, just beautiful scenery.

The food on this ship was great, the butter was unbelievable and options were plenty.

There were a lot of activities as far as crew setting them up, but i felt the ship was lacking extra amenities, sometimes on the ship I felt bored.

The comedy shows were great, the Island princess Orchestra was amazing as well as some of the bands they had playing in the different areas and the guest musicians were also good.

I think this ship is having issues with plumbing. Sometimes the hallways smelled like poop and I am pretty sure everyone in my party had issues with clogged toilets.

Over all this was a positive review that pointed out his feelings about the ship. I see no reason to rip the OP. He was just simply stating an opinion but made it clear he had a good time. I sailed in Island Princess. Had a wonderful time. Wasn't too crazy about the ship but it was a great cruise. The staff on this ship are wonderful, hard workers.

You really should do your homework as there are so many newer ships it's your choice people book older ships then complain?? Alaska is amazing and so worth the trip ....
