No excursions. We spent the day before the cruise exploring Long Beach, and we stayed the night in San Pedro. We would like to have embarked in a terminal rather than a tent.

This was our disembarkment port and with our group we went out early. My group continued with an excursion but I had family pick me up so didn't go.

Minimalist port, really a warehouse for retrieving your baggage and passport review by CBP. Bus transfer from the port to the airport are available from NCL, but I won't be doing that again. Let's just say that the vacation is over and the great customer service end at the end of the gangway.

Shipping port, not the most pretty place but works for embarkation and disembarkation just fine. Our excursion on disembarkation was to Santa Monica and Venice then dropped at the airport, those were much nicer areas to visit.

Seeing all of the cargo containers was surreal. We stayed at the Doubletree in San Pedro. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this property. They are an amazing team ready to help. We drove North on the coastal road; beautiful sights including Point Vicente lighthouse
