Review summary

We had a wonderful trip, NCL took precautions; we always felt safe and comfortable. Love the Bliss

Embarkation

5 out of 5
NCL required Covid testing immediately prior to checking in. Staff were organized; very little wait time. Once the negative test results came back a shuttle was available to transport us to the cruise terminal. There the lines were short and we were quickly checked in and able to board the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffet had large assortments of foods with plenty of stations, very clean and not crowded; we enjoyed Manhattan, Savor and Taste. The food was very good, with a nice variety of selections. As for the Specialty Restaurants we indulged in Oceans Blue, Cagney's, La Cucina and Teppanyaki. Our traveling party consisted of 12 people. All in the group loved their meals at each restaurant. All of us had the Beverage package and enjoyed each bar and lounge onboard

The Bliss is a wonderful ship in all ways

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was aft, clean and spacious.

Ship tip

The Observation deck is a great place to relax, read a book, grab a snack, enjoy drinks. The bar is comfortable, but the sofas and cushioned chairs make for a enjoyable locale with wonderful views

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Seeing all of the cargo containers was surreal. We stayed at the Doubletree in San Pedro. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this property. They are an amazing team ready to help. We drove North on the coastal road; beautiful sights including Point Vicente lighthouse

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
We only had a few hours here. We walked around town and enjoyed a boat ride out to the Arch

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Clean City. We were fortunate to find a tour guide at the pier who provided us a trip through the area including old town, the rain forest.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Arranged Carlos Tirdao Ochoa of Mazatlan Van Tours to take us around the area. He spent several hours driving us through the area and giving us an excellent history of the area

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy
