Review summary

Not the cruise line for us, but we enjoyed the family time in the Horizon Lounge

Embarkation

LONG covid process, but fast after that

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Haven was decent, but seriously need to change the menu at some point during the cruise. And toward the end, the wait time for food delivery got longer, resulting in cold food. Nice staff though. Specialty restaurants were okay. Liked pizza and soft serve for a fast lunch in the buffet

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Liked race track, slides, but lack of fun activities. Some were cancelled, but with crap internet and no access to communication onboard, we had no idea.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Six was fab! Missed Jersey boys, but seen it in NYC and it’s great. Christmas spectacular was not bad, felt thrown together. Cruise director has a beautiful voice btw

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Clean and shiny, but not a fan of the design. Seemed you had to track through airport duty free to get to the other side of the ship

Ship tip

Haven is worth the expense, but menu gets old fast. Specialty restaurants were okay, at best. Wi-Fi package upgrade is expensive but apparently necessary since no one in our party could communicate with one another after day 3.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Bike ride was challenging - not the terrain, but the bikes! πŸ™„ But the tacos at the Hacienda afterword were yummy

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Sail and snorkel was awesome - saw whales and sting rays jumping, and sunset was incredible
