Just for embark and debarking. Huge parking garage fills up. Get there early. You can embark in the early pm and have lunch aboard. If you want to stay overnght, the Aquarium is cool, Pine Street lively and in summer the beaches are clean.

Best western selections in this area are nice and affordable if you book early. They also offer a complementary shuttle to the ship.

Ship was late, and had to stand out in the hot sun for HOURS! Got in and we were starving, no food court was open....got to room and some luggage was missing, air conditioner did not work, and toilet wasn’t working 3 days in a row. Each time we went to eat, the courts were closed or closing...only ones open were the pizza and hamburger court....and because of a surgery I had, I can’t have that kind of food, so I had to wait and wait and wait. Pretty much every thing on the agenda was rescheduled, and each time we asked someone for information, they never knew. We would plan a show and get there and find out it’s been rescheduled. Nothing seemed planned, it always seemed thrown together....not rehearsed, so most of the shows or events were boring, and confusing. We paid for three endless bubbles, and only 2 worked, so that was a hassle to get fixed, we were told we could have a steamer, and that was taken from us. Paid for an excursion to mazaltan, and we rode on a dirty tore up bus, the stops were rushed through, sat forever without being served at the restraunts, the stops were boring and nothing like it said. The only thing we enjoyed was the bacchus dining area, our waiter was awesome!

Stay as close as you can if you are staying the night before. Cab was about 40 dollars for a 8 mile drive. Or find a hotel that offers free shuttle.

It took almost two hours to get to the Getty. We were told it would take three days to see it all but we weee given two hrs which had to include eating lunch. Then we drove over an hour to Rodeo Drive and were told we had about half an hour and had to walk about ten minutes to the actual street.
