A: You should have posted under the ship and not the cruise port. Water slides are typically cold with pools and hot tubs not much warmer.

Answered by dkantouth on July 7, 2024

A: the answer is cold, pumped in from the Pacific ocean. Carnival only heats the jacuzzi.

A: I stayed at the Hyatt because you can walk to everything... but to be honest, it just turned out to be an opportunity to let the wallet and liver rest as there wasn't much fun to do. (maybe I'm just getting older).

A: Carnival is at Long Beach Port. Everyone else is at San Pedro Port which is called Port of LA. If you are not on a Carnival cruise, that's where to go.

A: Google cruise hive. Once you're on the page, then search carnival theme night party or just google carnival cruise theme night party. There will be a list of parties for all the carnival ships.

A: "Better" is very relative in this case. Long Beach airport is much smaller and easier to navigate. It's also much closer to the cruise port. LAX, on the other hand, will have more flight options (possibly including direct flights, depending on where... you are starting your journey), and flights are usually less expensive than going into Long Beach. Depends on what's most important to you.See More

A: If you can fly into Long Beach it’s 15 minutes from the port and a lot of traffic less than coming from LAX. Plus it’s a tiny airport which makes check in and getting out of the airport super simple.

A: Definitely Long Beach!

A: Hotel Maya seems a great option. I secured a $172 (total including tax & and fees) for the night on Priceline.

A: Holiday Inn Downtown offers covered parking during your cruise. Stayed twice with no problems…I’d recommend parking at the port though…fastest way to get on the road after your trip unless you are staying the night in LB before going home.

Answered by dmowe on January 18, 2023

A: With your 4 day, I would maybe park at the port. 3 or 4 days is about the cost hassle of uber. However, the previously mentioned hotels and the stay park and fly are all great options for longer cruises. If you end up ubering, you will not have any... issues dropping off, but may see some getting picked up. Next time we will taxi back to Courtyard. had 2 or 3 drivers cancel on us after 5 or 10 mins each.See More

Answered by dkantouth on January 18, 2023

A: I think you can look up https://www.park-stay-fly.com. If you stay there one night, they offer free parking for a week. It doesn’t matter that you won’t be flying. You’ll be cruising! What days are you cruising the panorama? I’m headed on January 21s... t. You can take an Uber or taxi from the hotel to the cruise terminal. Good luckSee More

A: Does your Priceline rate include parking? If not it’ll end up costing more than the discounted park and cruise rate.

A: if all of this is stressing you out, you can look into buying a faster to the fun pass. by giving them faster access to your funds, you can get on board early with the suite guests and walk on like a boss

Answered by jallaway on December 6, 2022

A: 14 days before your cruise you will do an online checkin. At online check in you choose a port arrival time . This is the time you arrive at port to check in. This is not your boarding time. You will wait a bit longer for that

A: We always parked at the terminal. It’s a covered parking garage, patrolled, and sits right next to the ship so you just take the stairs or elevator down no shuttle needed. $23 a day.

Answered by RoxxiAtSea on July 4, 2022

A: you can find lots and garges cheaper in long beach even with peak uber prices. however, catching an uber after the cruise always seams to be a problem. lots of taxis but uber and lyft drivers don't want to wait to get in.

A: Once you are logged into your Carnival account, click on the "categories" located upper left of page. then click on Airport Transfers. That should do it.

A: Yes, it is considered an excursion. I would highly suggest just using Uber or Lyft though since the setup is perfect at the Long Beach cruise terminal. We actually had the Carnival bus booked to take us to LAX after this last cruise but it was so dis... organized we ended up just calling a Lyft.See More
