nice trip but not really a nice cruise

Sail Date: October 10, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Carnival does not know how to embark and debark in Long Beach. All and all in was a nice cruise with a few minor problems. First Carnival employee I encountered was rude. Our wait at the dining table was a little to long. The ports themselves were great. And if we did not ask our room steward for our pin that we receive we would of never gotten it.

Cruise Photos

Cabin / Stateroom
Nothing beats a balcony!!!!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
The absolute worst ever!!!
Ship Quality
Not like the bigger and newer ships.
Destinations and Excursions
I loved Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.
Onboard Activities
Did not like that alot of the activities were closed when we wanted to to them because of private functions.
Not bad.Piano bar was not bad.
Service and Staff
Octavius was the best bar staff ever!!!
Food and Dining
Waited to long for our food.
Long Beach (Los Angeles), California
Stay as close as you can if you are staying the night before. Cab was about 40 dollars for a 8 mile drive. Or find a hotel that offers free shuttle.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
You can do excursions off the ship and they dont cost as much.

Get there later on in the day. Maybe it wont be so bad to get on the ship!!!
