Review summary

Carnival does not know how to embark and debark in Long Beach. All and all in was a nice cruise with a few minor problems. First Carnival employee I encountered was rude. Our wait at the dining table was a little to long. The ports themselves were great. And if we did not ask our room steward for our pin that we receive we would of never gotten it.

Stay as close as you can if you are staying the night before. Cab was about 40 dollars for a 8 mile drive. Or find a hotel that offers free shuttle.

We have cruised out of long beach 3 time and all were terrible . It doesn't matter ,rain or shine you still have to stand outside . We're doing it again in Jan. with my sister and her husband . Difference is are platinum this cruise and my sister bought fttf .

Long Beach used to be indoors too! I recommend the faster to the fun for Long Beach!

I agree. Both the getting on and the getting off the ship were horrible. Not Carnival's fault on the front end. To have people standing outside in what felt like 95 degrees with 90% humidity for almost two hours waiting to check in to the outside desk was unacceptable. The east coast ports are indoors with air conditioning! Also, getting to Cabo on the tender boats was extremely disorganized! The cruise itself was excellent!

Funtastic-o
