My excursion made this port great. We did stand-up paddleboarding for the first time. Awesome fun. Then they drop you in town where you can shop and buy key lime pie from Kermit's Key West Lime Shoppe. Yum!! Then there was a bus that took you back to the ship, free of charge. Pretty cool port.

We docked at the Navy Base and there was a free shuttle to transport you to down town Key West. Nice place to walk around and learn about the town.

No excursions. Just went on a train tour, so much fun! Lots of good shopping options! The aquarium is adorable and the shipwreck museum is fascinating.

We took the hop on and off trolly around Key West. It was very informative. There is so much history to the island. Then we at a a Cuban restaurant. That was very good. I really enjoyed it. And we visited the small aquarium. It was wonderful. I was able to feed a nurse shark which was the high light of the day for me.

There is a free bus called Duval Loop. Stops a block from southernmost point in US, mile zero sign,museums. Air conditioned! This made our Sunday morning in early October bearable!
