We have cruised on Carnival many times, this time was no different. Carnival needs to update their shows.
They need to open different food venues late at night and find a way to avoid lines for food. ( More options on different decks)
Have a good option for coffee -thats included, that starts your whole day! The coffee bars on deck 5 midship (Coral Sea Cafe) and in the buffet near the aft have Lavazza coffee for sale, which is very good.

This was a surprise. No lines. No wait. Had an appointment time and it was honored. We sat and waited until our boarding zone was called. The time from parking the car to finishing lunch on the lido deck was less than an hour!

Main dining room service and food ok. Lido deck buffet was constantly filled with long lines, tried to avoid there when possible . Sushi was excellent. Coffee from room service was nothing more than warm flavored coffee water .

Same shows, I have been on Carnival before and the show are repetitive. Tried to go to the comedy shows, however the lounges are small and always jam packed. The comedy shows should be done in a larger venue such as the large theatre/auditorium (Caribbean Lounge on this ship).

Standard size had storage, but they took away closet shelving in the re-design of the room. The fridge and safe are now in the closet.
Ship tip
Check out the bar on the rear of the ship 4th level. Accessible by taking aft elevators to deck 4.
