Nice and hot! Take the local sight seeing bus. The drivers are great to explain everything for history buffs.

We just walked around for an hour and went back to ship. Have been to Key West many times. A little too touristy for me. But Truman's house and Hemingway house are must sees if never been there.

Went to Earnest Hemingway house. $14/person. Way too expensive for what you get to see but we are cat lovers and loved seeing the 6-toed cats. Figured the money goes to the care of them, also. Enjoyed the Blue McCaw where they had a Body Mary bar. Not enough time at Key West. We didn't get to see half of what we wanted to see.

We took a hop on hop off tour. Very educational. Lots of bars and restaurants. We visited the cats at the Hemingway house.

Take the $20 hop on hop off trolley, enjoy the round trip and stay on to go back to your favorite spot. We enjoyed the butterfly garden the most, but the garden at the martello tower is very pleasant, free, and little used.

Been several times to key west - we rented a scooter for 4 hours - enjoyed the day. Surprised that the ship left before sunset and even more surprised that a cruise ship was docked in front of Mallery Square. Watching sunset at Mallery Square is a ritual for many and truly a Ket West experience.
