Review summary

Very enjoyable. great food. I don't understand why WiFi is soooo expensive. I would have paid $3 or $4 a day to check email or at least have option to purchase only one or two days. Drink packages a little pricey as well.

Embarkation

Everything went smoothly and very quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. was very happy that there were so many choices. I ate most meals in the main dining room but Windjammer was nice as well. My only criticism would be the iced tea tasted like instant and not brewed. I would get tea bags and brew my own. minor thing.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Entertainment was good but not my style. Shows and comedy acts good. Nice to have several movie choices.

Solarium

5 out of 5

really enjoyed the solarium although hot tub was crowed at times. glad to know they clean it often. difficult to find an empty chair if you got there late. another hot tub would be nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

really liked cabin. nice to have couch to relax on so didn't need to be on bed as much. I sleep with a C-Pap which took up one of the two outlets. would have been nice to have extra outlet. I brought an extension cord so we could recharge multiple devices. Wish there had been an outlet in bathroom for a night light.

Ship tip

bring an outlet plug so you can recharge multiple devices.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

disenbarkment took forever! customs just look at passport and waved on. could have been quicker.

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
We just walked around for an hour and went back to ship. Have been to Key West many times. A little too touristy for me. But Truman's house and Hemingway house are must sees if never been there.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Our excursion was okay. A hike in woods to over look at bay and then beach time. Enjoyed the fruit and cakes they provided as were very different.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
We were on bus right after the bus crash so difficult to enjoy knowing others had died. The mayan ruins were nice to see. I wish the guide would have given more info on the mayan history. Bus had video capability and it would have been nice if they would have showed a video on the mayan history during the 50 minute ride to the site.

Cozumel, Mexico

No excursions. just walked around for a couple hours then back to boat. Nice to have ship to ourselves.

Disembarkation

We stayed on ship until they forced us off. Then had to stand in line for an hour to go through customs. No clear signs of where to meet Uber drivers.

Satellites are very expensive. No comparison to land internet.

It’s really difficult to keep the Ethernet cable plugged into the aft of the ship in rough seas.

We are cruising for the first time in February. Can you not buy a daily WiFi pass? I was told that you can. It’s so confusing as a first timer
