Review summary

Dream was upgraded last year. They now have Guy's Burgers, which are excellent, as one of those upgrades. Steakhouse continues to be very good. We like the decor and presentation of the Dream's Atrium area with the Glass Elevators, etc. We found the crew very friendly and personable. Chris Williams, the Cruise Director on this cruise was EXCELLENT. Best ever and we have been on 17 cruises.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had Faster To The Fun. We ALWAYS try and get it and have been successful pretty much everything. That gives us Priority Boarding right behind the Platinum and Diamonds. That combined with Carnival's decision to give 1/2 Window Times to the rest of cruisers, staggers things so you don't have 3,000 people trying to all stand in a terminal to get on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
They need to change up their Lido Deck menu options and their overall choices for desserts. On Lido, desserts pretty much same every day and close to the same when we cruised the Vista 10/17.

Ship tip

They are a great value for the money when it comes to cruising.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
One of our overall favorite ports. Lots to do and see.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
Prebook an excursion for this port as it's an industrial port and there is little to do or see around terminal.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
A lot of the city is around the terminal so there is plenty to do and see. We have been there many times so the rating is a little low based on that.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again, we had Priority with Faster To The Fun and Carnival is organized.
