Review summary
My adult daughters and I just came back from our "girls only" vacation on the Carnival Victory and we had a blast! We did some things separately but most things together. My youngest daughter is single and she spent more time at the pool and the clubs than my eldest daughter and I did, but we all enjoyed the entertainment. Our favorite was the 80's-90's Music Trivia. People of all ages were singing and having a good time! We loved the Activities Director, Matie, and his assistant, Isaac. Amy was an incredible singer and a nice person (she got me seated and some ice water when I became faint during the hot muster drill). The steel drum player was also incredibly talented. All the crew were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure good. The cabin was actually bigger than previous cabins on a more expensive cabin on any of the Royal Caribbean cruises I've been on. The food, in general, was not as good as on Royal Caribbean (this was my 1st Carnival cruise), though the pizza and hot dogs were better and the Mac and cheese with bacon was awesome. We enjoyed Key West much more than Cozemel and would have preferred to spend longer time in Key West and less in Cozemel. The biggest negative was the noise in the hallways at night and at all hours, children screaming, loud music, and drunken guests. You also have to watch out for the wooden sea horse snouts sticking out around every staircase turn. My youngest daughter had bruises on both thighs from hitting them (you have to "boop" them on the nose with your hand to avoid hitting them with your leg, we found)!

Ship tip
Our cabin was more towards the front and the dining room was toward the back. Found out it was easier to go down the hall to back elevators. Also found that if you were going up or down only one or two decks, it was easier to use the stairs rather than the elevator. Just watch out for the sea horse
