This was a great port to just walk around the town. Ernest Hemingway's house on Whitehead was a highlight of our day. Also interesting was the Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum that displayed gold and other treasures brought up from a Spanish wreck. Both were in easy walking distance from the pier.

We rented a golf cart and went to Ernest Hemingways home. It was an interesting tour and then we drove around a little and went back to the boat. Others in our party did go deep sea fishing and snorkling. It was a good place to visit.

Key West was a really expensive version of Charleston, SC. Still enjoyed ourselves. We got a hop on hop off trolly tour. It was fun. The conch fritters and chocolate covered key lime pie is awesome!

Our ship was at the Navy dock, so we had to be shuttled in and out of the port. The ship arrived into port an hour early and was able to stay an hour late; which was great unless you had a shore excursion scheduled for 9am. You had to stay on the ship as you couldn't just get off the ship and wander around then meet your excursion since you were on an active military base. So we were stuck on the ship until it was time to meet our excursion. After our excursion we were able to spend a few more hours in port and walk to everything we wanted to see! It was hot, so make sure you take lots of water with you! The crew were on the dock handing out cold towels as you came back onboard - great touch!!

We did the hop on hop off tour and felt like we covered a lot of ground. It was convenient and we loved learning about the city.

Don't buy an excursion if you like walking around plenty to see and do directly off the pier

The ship left at 3:30, so not enough time there! We were glad we decided to take the Conch Train so that we could see a lot in a short amount of time. Hemingway House and Sloppy Joe's were very interesting. Not time to do much else.

Had been to this port several times so not a lot of new, did go to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park which was pretty cool if you’re into history. Jump on/off the Duval Loop buses (FREE and they have AC) about 10-12 different stops. Look for the pink bus signs
