Easy boarding. Very little wait time when arriving at scheduled board time. Friendly courteous staff. Easy self assist off. Convenient parking nearby.

I live in Houston, so I have been to Galveston many many times. The Strand is a great place to start, with many stores and of course La Kings (ice cream/candy shop) is a must. The Railroad museum is great as well. The beach is nothing to get excited about....it's water is brown and usually a lot of seaweed. I grew up with it, so it's not that big of a deal to me, but people who are used to white sand and blue water would be in shock.
