Review summary

This was our first cruise and we were not disappointed . We will definitely be back. My teenage sons had a wonderful time, and we relaxed with no worries,

Embarkation

Lines were long but not sure how you get around getting 3000 people through security in any less time. Everyone we encountered throughout the process was very friendly and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had excellent service in the main dining rooms. Fernando, Roel and Linda made us feel like family and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food on the rest of the ship was great. Family favorites were Pirate Pizza and the 24 hour ice cream.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We used the fitness center every day. The pools were too crowded so we didn't use them at all. They could use more ping pong tables, there was always a line to use them so we only got to use them twice. Also, would be great if things like basketball and mini golf were available in the evenings.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Loved all the comedy club shows. Malcolm was very involved with all the passengers and we enjoyed his daily updates and activites,

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My son really enjoyed the 02 club for 15-17 year olds. It was a great opportunity for him to meet new friends and he spent most of the cruise with that team. Yu-Yu actually sent us a hand written note about how much fun she had with our son.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent staff, everyone was warm and friendly (with the exception of the spa staff which were clickish and did not acknowledge anyone unless they walked up to the desk and waited to be asked if they needed help) Our stateroom attendant Sutamba was very helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was well maintained and help was always available when needed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was set up for 4 of us when we arrived. Our refrigerator could have been colder but we survived. Quarters were tight but that's to be expected. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows, plenty of towels and absolutely loved having the deck to sit out on and watch our progress. Slept wonderfully!

Ship tip

Loved the daily "Funtimes" with everything that was going on throughout the ship. Definitely would download the ships app. Used it every day.

Cozumel, Mexico

Had a great time on our excursion on the Twister boat #3 and then on to Isla Passion where we had a relaxing day with food and drinks included. Lots of fun activities for our teenagers. Crew aboard our boat was great.

Belize City, Belize

Very small port, we should have done one of the off shore excursions. Instead we did the train tour which was kind of depressing. Our least favorite stop on the trip.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Awesome time here with the Cataraman trip to go snorkeling. Entire crew, especially Warren, were focused o making sure everyone had a good time. Food was every good and the bus trip back to the boat was easy and quick. Our favorite excursion on the cruise,

Disembarkation

Malcolm did a great job giving everyone the detail of how the process works and kept everyone updated on where we were in the process. Couldn't have been better prepared. Loved that the Lido deck was open with food so the wait wasn't too bad. Wish there was a way to get through customs faster but nothing anyone can do about that.
