Great first cruise experience overall. Definitely looking forward to another one in the future!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Getting ready to depart was a pleasant experience considering the heat, shuttles were provided from the parking lot to the doors to checkin with only about a 15 minute wait.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room and staff were exceptional, the buffet didn't provide as many varieties of food as I expected but the food quality was good.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I enjoyed being able to workout at the fitness center. I also enjoyed the art auction as well as the scavenger hunts.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The DJ in the Viking Lounge was pretty impressive, for the wide variety of people he did not miss a beat and played music that kept everyone dancing from latino, 90s rap, top 40 etc.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service from all staff personnel was absolutely amazing!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I loved the ships layout and design, I did get turned around the first day but the staff was quickly able to get me in the right direction.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
I personally thought the room was a little small for an oceanview for 2 people, knowing the size and layout now I would not recommend this size room for two people. The bathroom area was extremely small and I could not imagine being taller than 5'5 and using that bathroom comfortably.
Ship tip
If you plan on gambling at the casino, set your account to CASH, this was you are able to avoid any additional service fees the may tack on, was very glad I did this in advance. Saved some money doing this!
I enjoyed the Couzmel port, lots of people trying to get you to buy excursions, beware because they offer you this highest priced option when there are many other options to choose from, the taxis are very reasonably priced. The beaches further away from the port either have a very low entry fee($3 Paradise Beach) and some none at all. Several beaches offered an all inclusive package where you got all you could eat food and drink for one rate, definitely not a bad idea if you are having more than 3 drinks which averaged about $8 each.
Very smooth process. Entire disembarkation took maybe 40 mins total and that was only having one exit due to the tropical storm damaging one of the ramps.
