We didn't have alot of time, but after spending the night at the The Roosevelt prior to our cruise, we were able to take a city tour. Since we had never been to Seattle it gave us a little taste of life there and why we need to go back there some day and see more sights.

Stayed overnight prior to cruise at expensive, cockroach infested Quality Inn near the Needle. Needle viewing not worth the wait or the price. Did not care for the atmosphere in the area around the Needle. Too many street beggars/street characters and rampant skate boarders downtown and around the Market. Staff in the mall area where we ate were rude and food was poor and expensive. Just not a great experience for either of us. Monorail ride was the best part of our Seattle experience.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed going up into the Space Needle. We also went on the Ride the Ducks excursion. I totally enjoyed it! It was very interesting and informative. From there we went to Pike Place Market. We didn’t have enough time in Seattle to visit all the places I wanted to see.
