A: Agreed. we booked our shuttle thru the ship,it got us priority off ship ,they even handled our luggage.

Answered by mary0909 on January 1, 2024

A: Yes, book it through the cruise line. or take an Uber.

Answered by rjcm on January 4, 2024

A: cruise line is best. it's a Looonng walk from the terminal to busses, though, but overall smooth. And if any unforseen delays, the ship will wait since you booked transportation through cruise line

Answered by AsYouWishTravel on January 4, 2024

A: we used the Seattle express. when we landed at the airport the day before, we used the hotel shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel. I had made arrangements through Seattle express for a ride to the port from the hotel and then to the airport f... rom the port. no problems at all. very convenient and we will use them again the next time.See More

Answered by smoke0152 on January 5, 2024

A: There are a ton of shuttles. If you booked through NCL, there should have been an option to book the shuttle. The shuttle is a much better option than a cab because 99% sure you will get a Prius, and when you pack for a 9 day trip the Prius gets unco... mfortable with 4 bags and 2 passengers. You can also request an Uber, but for some reason Uber is about 10x more expensive at the airport in Seattle.See More

Answered by stephncj on January 3, 2024

A: I'm sure there are several options. I booked with Seattle Express because the website I booked my cruise through is partnered with them, and I received a discount for booking through the partnered site.

A: You should be assigned (or be able to pick) an arrival time by your cruise line when you check in.

Answered by cmressler on October 22, 2023

A: Please check with your cruise line to make sure. They may, or may not, have assigned times for you to arrive at the pier. Princess, as an example, used to have assigned times to arrive, but did away with that policy earlier this year, and now allow p... assengers to arrive whenever they wan up until their cutoff time. However, most cruise lines would require you to arrive ‘not later than’ two hours before departure. And if you did arrive just 2 hours before departure, that would really be cutting it close! I would definitely arrive earlier than that.See More

Answered by rjcm on January 4, 2024

A: whatever your check in time is.

Answered by Bryces17 on January 6, 2024

A: If you don't have a specific assigned time, a good rule of thumb is to get to the cruise port no later than 2 hours before the ship departs. Also, check your email regularly in the few days before your departure day; sometimes the cruise lines have t... o change the sail away time.See More

A: We took a taxi to our room near the space needle last June for 44$ An Uber at that time was almost 80$ .We then took carnival shuttle to airport from ship at 29$ each.

Answered by mary0909 on April 24, 2023

A: I agree Link light rail is easy.It is a bit of a hike to get there from the terminal but i’ve seen carts moving folks back and forth.

Answered by gmcguire on April 24, 2023

A: We spent the night at the Mediterranean Inn after our flight in to Seattle, and the driver from the hotel came and picked us up from the airport. They also have the Link light rail, it’s like the Marta, I think.

Answered by fombymom18 on April 24, 2023

A: The Light Rail isn't too far, though would help if they had people movers. easy and cheap trip to get downtown but I would base my recommendation on if you are just going to the ship or a hotel and where the hotel is.

A: No! shipmate has absolutely nothing to do with your cruise reservation! You have to call the cruiseline or your TA to chande anything.

Answered by crusin4gramma on April 12, 2023

A: No, changing your cabin number on the Shipmate app does absolutely nothing to actually change your cabin on the ship for your particular sailing. You will need to work directly with the cruise line, or through your travel agent for that.

Answered by LisaKitty on April 12, 2023

A: Shipmate is a cruise review and community app not an actual cruise line. You'll need to contact the line directly for assistance with your inquiry. A: Shipmate is a way to organize and keep track of your sailings. They have nothing to do with the cruise lines. You have to contact your cruise line directly if you want to change your reservation.

A: Looking a little deeper into the cruise itineraries, the 21-day itinerary is broken up into a few one-way cruises (Seattle to Vancouver being 1 of them. When the 21 day stops in Ft. Lauderdale it then begins round trip cruises from Ft. Lauderdale.

A: As a general rule of thumb…and speaking from a lot of experience…..whatever the cruise line is charging, a taxi will cost you half the amount. Not only that….when you purchase a ship transfer, you’ll sit on that bus at the airport till it’s full, if... you take a taxi, as soon as you collect your baggage you’re on your way. Answered by shipbarnicle on April 5, 2023

A: Yes, most cruise lines offer transfer to / from port / airport. These are usually purchased in advance of your cruise directly from the cruise line or through your travel agent. A taxi from SeaTac to the port would be about $50.

Answered by shipbarnicle on April 4, 2023

A: Look at Seattle Express. They have a round trip from airport to cruise terminal for $45+. Looks pretty reasonable. They also do pickup from your hotel at Airport too. Seemed like a good price for a van. They pick you up at cruise pier to airport. Say... s shuttles leave every 15 minutes.See More
