For anyone who has taken a Princess cruise to Alaska out of Seattle, and utilized one of their hotels pre-cruise (like the Westin downtown) and then also the transportation to the ship from the hotel provided by Princess….do you recall what time of the day they began taking passengers to the ship? Trying to decide whether to utilize their shuttle service to the ship from the hotel, or arrange our own. It just seems like arranging our own transportation allows us to get to the ship at a time we would prefer. Thank you for your input.

Flying in the night before. we plan to take a Lyft to the port. from what I've read the shuttles are like at least twice as much per person. they also stopped to pick other people up along the way which takes longer.

we stayed at the Crowne Plaza downtown and took an Uber to the port for 25$ The light rail goes right from the airport into Seattle if you are looking to save a few bucks.
