We had a beautiful day just going where the impulse took us. Ferry Building Market Place, Coit Tower, Filbert St steps, Painted Ladies, Cable Car, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf. Use Uber if you can - it's a great way to get around!

Alcatraz & Pier 39. Love San Francisco. We did the Alcatraz portion of the on board excursion, but didn't have as much time as we wanted at Alcatraz, so dropped the Sausalito portion, and stayed longer at Alcatraz, then walked to Pier 39 to see the sea lions.

Best port we visited.Theapproch under the bridge is worth being on deck for. We had a ship’s tour to Alcatraz and Sausalito which was excellent and on the second day took the Love Bus tour which was highly entertaining and worth the money.

So much to see and do. We had been two years earlier so had opportunity to see different less mainstream things! Walt Disney Family Museum was amazing and a must see!

We stayed here for five nights after the cruise. We loved our visit and traveled most of the city by bus and cable car. Hop on Hop off bus tour was wonderful, it takes you over the Golden Gate Bridge and back. Awesome weather and we even got to see the Blue Angels show that weekend. Great food too.
