Celebrity Eclipse Pacific Coastal
Celebrity Eclipse Cruise Review
Review summaryFirst cruise with Celebrity and we loved it! An older crowd than RCL/NCL, but almost no kids on-board! The look and feel of the ship is well appointed and luxurious. Tonnes of great quiet spots to chill and relax. The adults only solarium was a favourite spot of ours to relax, swim and soak in the hot tubs. We never ate in the MDR as it’s not our style, but the buffet and specialty dining was better than any other cruise we have taken. The service was exceptional everywhere on the ship!
Food and Dining
Oceanview Cafe and Bar
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all tasty and well presented. Great selection that changed regularly. Homemade ice cream was amazing and changed everyday. The only down side was the late night selection. Essentially just a pasta and pizza bar and leftover desserts. RCL/Celebrity need to work on matching NCL’s late night selections for us night owls. Buffet for dinner was almost always just crew. Celebrity guests like their MDR/specialties for dinner!
Le Petit Chef at Qsine
My only disappointment. They had one standard menu that flowed with the cool animation. But if you are vegetarian or happen to dislike certain foods, then they substitute and the animation doesn’t match your food. Was very sad to see mushroom and tomato dishes, two items that a good number of people do not enjoy. Service here was also the least attentive of all our meals.
Good service and tasty food. Just not as amazing as Murano!
My favourite by far. Tableside cooking for not only entrees but for dessert as well! Service was top notch and made us feel like celebrities!
Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria
Exceptional service and delicious specialty coffees. Always remembered my order and was always served quickly!
Fresh healthy light bites for breakfast and lunch. Cold noodle salad was delicous!
Adults only area has comfy loungers with fully padded cushions. Towels are laid out and no need to sign them out like a criminal. Two hot tubs and a smaller pool with quiet soothing music. A fav place to chill especially when weather outside was chilly/rainy.
Came out ahead, even though many say they run the slots tight! Big airy and NO smokers!!! Huge plus!

Hollywood Hot glass was fun but don’t go in thinking you can be creative. Only a few set items can be made and you really have very minimal involvement in the actual creation. It was fun but not what I had hoped for. Also the price you pay online for the class is for the most basic piece. Anything cool costs $$$$
