Just like any other major cities port congested. The city itself is rich in history. I love it and creole food.

I love it but we came the week after maradi gras. I’m not a big party person and it was still so crowded and smelly.

NOLA is always fun and energetic. Food is amazing so if time permits definitely try the local cuisine.

We started our cruise in New Orleans and had the most fun in a bar named Bamboulas. They had great music both nights we were there.

Stayed at a hotel in Marerro. Also in the past stayed on the Westbank area. Hotels right in the heart of NOLA too expensive.

Can't say enough - I did an amazing tour with The Lousiana Touring Company. It was a city highlight and Katrina tour. It was excellent -the tour guide was very knowledgeable. This tour was actually conducted by the same transportation company who picked our group up "Alert Transportation". They are excellent - I will keep them in my book because they really were exceptional.

We were in New Orleans four days before we boarded. If you have time Frenchman Street is where the best music is at
