A: Super easy from NCL terminal. We walked out. Taxi waiting. Signs in terminal
Answered by Michael4g94 on September 3, 2024
A: Not difficult at all. We took Uber, just a lot of congestion with people leaving and another group arriving- but was not a problem. Lots of taxi lined up as well, not sure their costs however.
Answered by jimpaxson9 on September 5, 2024
A: There are taxis waiting when you exit the Carnival terminal. IMO, a taxi was way easier than trying to find your specific Uber driver. Just get in the taxi line and they tell you where to go. Can’t miss it.

A: There’s the original Cafe’ du Monde in the French Quarter on Decatur St. If you go there, you’ll be at ground zero for the great things New Orleans is most known for. You’ll likely hear the street music and see horse drawn carriages and street perfor... mers from there. The historic St. Louis Cathedral will be within your line of sight as well. If you go to a mall, you’ll not experience the ambiance that New Orleans has to offer.See More

A: For Beignets, it has to be Cafe Du Monde. The original location is in the French Quarter on Dacatur Street. However, there is another location in the Riverwalk shops that is located right at the Port! You can sip coffee and enjoy your beignets whil... e staring out the windows at your ship.See More

A: In your case, you should have checked it when you boarded and prior to your departure. OBC can come in many ways, some of which may not show on your precruise paperwork. If it doesn't show in Hub app, then contact Guest Services or if you booked thr... ough a travel agent them. You have to use it on board or lose it. It should have shown in final.See More

A: have you already completed your cruise and left the ship?
Answered by jallaway on August 28, 2023
A: you should have checked it when you boarded, not when you are already home! If you did not recieve it, there is nothing you can do now. Lesson learned for next time!
Answered by crusin4gramma on August 29, 2023
A: You should post more info in your initial request in the future. it is not always clear what cruiseline or when.

A: the Hilton is right there at the waterfront and is walkable to the port (if there's bad weather, you can go through the adjacent outlet mall. and FYI there's a Cafe Du Monde location in that mall!)the official cruise parking lot is reasonably priced,... but it's worth looking to see if the Hilton has a room-and-parking promo.See More

A: Parked at Cruise Terminal for four cruises with no problems in New Orleans. Cost a little more but worth it and very convenient for us.

A: Thank you! We want to park at the port for the cruise. I've read a lot of reports about cars getting robbed so I'd like gated parking. Might stay at a hotel in a nearby city.

Q: I booked my hotel precruise months ago. It’s near the cruise port (within 1-2 miles) it’s a well known chain. Anyone know the area well before I start calling every one of them? Thanks (my computer got wiped clean that’s where I had the info)

A: It depends on where you park. Off site parking can be as cheap as $14 a day. The parking garage at the terminal was $22 a day the last time we cruised from there. Be aware though, in New Orleans, you get what you pay for. For security and convenience... , we will always park in the garage. It is "first come, first served."See More
