Review summary
This is our second time on the getaway and had a great time. You can read my previous review if you would like a lot more detail. One of our only complaints which I have nothing against smokers was the placement of the smokers cove on deck 15. The smoke goes right down to the kids water park area. That’s the ship’s design fault and when cigars are smoked in there and not the humidor. We also had again the two rooms next to us smoking in their balconies when there of all the ships we’ve been on this one has the most smoking areas. They are entitled just like everyone else to enjoy their vacation just be mindful of others please. We couldn’t always enjoy our balcony. We actually had a great tender experience. The employees let people go early because they said people in the early groups were not showing up to fill up the boats accordingly, they did lunch at Moderno on sea days which was different from the last time when I was on there. It seemed to help with the chaos in the buffet. Syd Norman’s is new from the last time I was on there was tons of fun and great music. I didn’t not experience any of the negative things the others have and I was on the same cruise 🤷🏻♀️. We had a great time. All I can say is do your homework on the ship and itinerary it will save a lot of possible complaints later. Oh yeah, your on vacation have a good time and make the best of it! Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at Sea
Good food, only disappointment was the long wait for the food and the hours in the afternoon.
Dolce Gelato
Worth the little bit of $ and nice to walk along the waterfront with. Get a break from the ice cream machine in the buffet
Waves Pool Bar
We spent a great deal of time in the water park area and I found the bar was always hard to get a drink but have to remember they are serving how many people and a even $1 tip goes a long way. Only complaint is, which I have nothing against smokers is where they do smoke is a horrible area. It blows right down to kids area.
O'Sheehan's Neighborhood Bar and Grille
We loved going here. It’s a great place to gather catch a drink, eat, socialize and catch some sports or a game. You also can go on the restaurant side. Has a slightly different menu but delicious for being free.
Ocean Blue by Geoffrey Zakarian
We did their walk up window on the sea day on the outside in the waterfront. It has lobster rolls, crab toast, calamari, etc and it’s extra $ but worth it.
