Review summary

It was only 50% capacity. The crew was amazing and you could tell they were happy to be back sailing. We spoke with many who told us their stories of dealing with the pandemic and getting home and what they did while waiting. Zero complaints!

Embarkation

We were in Haven so truth be told being able to skip all of the lines was pretty amazing!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at Le Bistro which was amazing. We also ended up going to Teppanyaki the first night spur of the moment with two other couples we met. The food was prepared well and it was fun. Truthfully you go for the fun and atmosphere more than anything else. We ate at O’Sheehans for quick snacks as it’s great for grill food. Most of our meals we ate in the Haven. Best breakfast on the ship. Lunches, dinner, and “snack” meals were great!

The Haven Restaurant

Everything we ate was amazing! They had lamb, beef, fish, pasta, anything you could want! The deserts were great as well! I never had anything bad. Best breakfast on the ship, hands down!

Le Bistro

Food and service is amazing! One of the few restaurants with a strict dress code.

Onboard Activities

This is to review the Haven pool and hot tub. They were nice. Even the main pool wasn’t crowded.

Ship tip

Always research your room and itinerary. Know what to expect. Even though this wasn’t my first cruise or first time on this ship, it was my first time in Haven. By researching I found that the Butler, steward, and concierge are not covered by the 18% and you should be prepared to tip accordingly. I also researched what exactly the butler could and should do for you.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

I love it but we came the week after maradi gras. I’m not a big party person and it was still so crowded and smelly.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

One of my favorite ports. Half of the shops are still closed due to the pandemic. I love going to Gumbalimba Park.

Cozumel, Mexico

Harvest Caye, Belize

Not my favorite port but at least all the shops were open. We did an excursion this time but we were not prepared for it to take a 25 min boat ride and a 50 min bus ride just to get there. We did the spice/garden tour.
