Do not stay downtown. Also be careful at the mall. My husband was verbally assaulted int the mall and told to give money to a gang kid or he would be cut.

We embarked from New Orleans so drove straight to the port and when we got off ship drove straight home. I really like the enclosed parking garage.

We were there the day after 2 officers were killed in Baton Rouge. We ended up driving into an area that was having protests (our fault). The time in NOLA was stressful
