The staff is great. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
After taking a cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway, we really enjoyed the Carnival Dream ship for the extra room in our cabin, the wide corridors and the amount of room in our balcony.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was spacious and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

Ship tip

Try the brisket at Guy's on the 5th floor. The comedians are great at the family shows.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
We did enjoy our visit to the French Quarter, but it was not on a ship excursion.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

4 out of 5
The Croyland plantation tour was informative, but the roads to the plantation were in terrible shape.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We have been to Grand Cayman several times. This time we took the Jolly Trolley tour and really enjoyed the lovely homes and scenery. The driver had iguana stories to tell.

Cozumel, Mexico

The Atlantis submarine is a great excursion.

I love the Dream and I have sailed her three times.

NCL is notorious for how small their non-Haven accommodations are. Even older ships on lines like Celebrity and Princess are larger.
