Enjoyed this port more than I expected. Surrounded by desert, this little town is a nice oasis. Walked down the beach then hired a taxi for $20 to take us to the top of the hill. Great views.

We walked to the nearby church and viewed the huge granite 'rock'. Great to see... Some nice and easy shopping in stalls were positioned near the port and we purchased some really cute native souvenirs (not outlandishly priced).

We really enjoyed learning about the people and their unusual agriculture. We found it enjoyable. Visited Olive farm, local produce market and shopping area. Almost no time to take a picture of Glyths as we sped by and the best market was at the last, down town near the church. FYI

Great trip! We took took the NCL Highlights for this tour and our favorite part was the Handicraft Village where we were able to have a local beer while we wandered around the area.

Very interesting! We took an open air bus along the coast to visit the caves, then up on the hill for a great overlook. The town is friendly with lots of shops and restaurants. The woman in the tourist information office was especially helpful.
