Yes, went to Jade Maya in the town of Antigua. Beautiful colonial town at the foot of the volcanos.

Expect very bumpy roads in La Antigua, as all cobblestone.

Only thing close was the small shopping area unless taking an excursion. Shopping area was nice and clean but very pushy sellers that would even pull you into their booth.

We took an excursion to the city of Guatemala Antigua. The Jade Museum was fine but the rest was terrible. For a World Heritage Site, there was little to get visitors engaged with the place, and vendors were everywhere, walking at your side. No historical markers and the guide (Aura) was poor.

Didn't look good. We don't understand why do they bother to dock here. Rumor had it that it is not a very safe place to visit and besides the tours were further away in the town and expensive. Spend a couple of hours in the vicinity of the terminal to relax and did some shopping.

The port itself is nothing special, but our excursion to Antigua was most enjoyable.
