This cruise was the longest we have taken. It was very nice on board. Can't say that we would return to any port except Cabo San Lucas. Wish there had been a Cirque show on the ship. Q left a bit to be desired but Cagney's was great as always. Great matching deposit deal on board with CruiseNext.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
With picking arrival times embarkation was very smooth and not very crowded like in the past. Only complaint is they didn't announce that staterooms were ready.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Specialty Dining rooms were great. Main dining rooms staff seemed to have too many tables to give any attention to requests. Buffet food was OK but especially breakfast tended to be cold even being freshly placed out.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Great water slides and racetrack. Love the Thermal Spa. Too many people allowed to reserve chairs with towels all day and not be present...at least in the Thermal Spa the staff would come and collect any chairs reserved by towels but no one present (but only if complaint was made). The origami classes were not actually origami...the instructors didn't seem to care to be there and did not demonstrate well.
Entertainment

Jersey Boys was great. Couldn't get tickets for Havana or Prohibition - had checked prior to the cruise and during. The magician/card trick guy wasn't very funny...

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
This was the worst room steward we have had. Crumbs on the carpet in our room from the 2nd night through the end of the cruise. Only got ice on 5 of the 15 nights even after requesting it. Only 5 towel animals. Didn't take dirty dishes/old food from the room. Didn't even empty my parents garbage with rotting orange for a few days. As always a bit more English would be great - I give them credit for knowing more than one language but a bit more training on English would be great.
No planned excursion. Got taxi at the port down from $150 for 4 people on tour down to $70 and the driver was very good with history and even walking with us in the old city and telling us what is or is not a decent price for items. Very nice port entrance green area with animals.
Only thing close was the small shopping area unless taking an excursion. Shopping area was nice and clean but very pushy sellers that would even pull you into their booth.
City Tour with Cliff Divers - nice big clean bus. Great driver and tour guide. Sad to know the people there think that El Chapo is such a great guy though. Did not feel safe outside the tour group. Shopping stop seemed very dirty, not good deals or items and the bathrooms didn't work.
No excursion. Just walked around town and to Cabo Wabo. Felt very clean and safe. Best port by far. Would come back here to stay for a week vacation and feel very comfortable. Nice shopping areas at the tender area.
