The port doesn't really have much to offer. We took a ship tour to the Pacaya Volcano - very interesting.

Wish the boat had told cruisers that there is a shuttle to the real terminal because we found out afterwards that the port dock had been damaged and we parked at a remote site which looked very sketchy. I would have enjoyed taking the shuttle to the official port area.

Take the Antigua tour....well worth the time & $. Best shopping at the port on the whole trip.

depressing poverty, squalor and too many trinket sellers selling the same made-in-china like stuff. Definatly stay aboard or go to Antigua for a day trip. That's worth it...

We did not do an excursion at this port. We walked around the vendors at the port and then got back on the ship. Vendors were friendly and would wheel and deal on pricing. Once you went to one or two vendors, it was pretty much the same throughout the rest of them. It was a nice day on the ship as a lot of people got off and so it was a lot less crowded.

Took the wildlife park tour but you drive through and the bus windows were very dirty and then they only give you 30 min at the small zoo which is not enough time.

(We did not visit this port, and the check box to specify so is broke.) I was supposed to do a jeep safari excursion. But on the evening before we were to arrive the Captain announced that the Guatemalan Government had closed the port siting COVID-19 related causes. I was refunded the excursion money. But I knew this port would likely be skipped when I booked the cruise. I used this day to go on all of Bliss' water rides, twice.
