Did not book a tour here so when I got to the pier I was bombarded by tour and taxi cab drivers who wanted my services. Did not receive a map although shopping area was close. Felt intimidated and returned to the ship.

We did not enjoy this port. Very littered with trash and just not comfortable. Where is all the money that the tourists bring in going? Not even sure why this was part of a cruise ship stop? So many of our cruisers said the same thing and some didn't even get off because they had read reviews about it?

This is what the whole trip was about and was very disappointed. If you didn't take a tour for $150 plus - allowed on land from 5 to7:30. Did not have way for husband to take scooter on shore and was not told this before hand. Very very disappointed. Then bus tours that day got delayed and we were delayed the next day in Limon. Bus tours got back at 10:00 and later during the evening. 5 to 7 on shore - dark and not in good area - unsafe feeling. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED SINCE THIS WAS THE REASON FOR THE TRIP.

We went on the rain forest tram, I was disappointed as it was about 20 minutes then up a walking ramp, however, we did see the Panama Canal there. Then back down and return tram to where we started. I expected to go for and hour on the tram and not just the same route.

Went off the ship for some WiFi. Poverty everywhere, a stop to pickup people from excursions. Many armed guards on the premises . Didn’t like this port at all.

we specially took this cruise itinerary to see the canal and that tour was canceled. no excuse given, very very disappointed in how it was handled — they canceled the excursion the night before our arrival
