Interesting visit to fort and old town. Be prepared to stave off a peddler every two minutes. A bit annoying, but if you politely tell them no, they will not bother you further,

No excursion. They have a wonderful terminal with a beautiful aviary. The birds were beautiful. It was free.

The horse-drawn carriage tour books up early so book ahead of time or you will be out of luck. Also, book a tour through Princess. There were many warnings about wandering around public areas in Colombia.

Very pretty older city, but the people trying to sell you things were so bad (in your face, following you around, stepping in front of you, not taking no for an answer), we have no desire to ever return.

Did the National Aviary Of Colombia tour. Very good. The time at this port was too short (we left around 3pm).

Interesting and historical but VERY touristy. We went on a private excursion with Dora the Explorer and she was lovely and very knowledgeable.

From what I had read, I was almost afraid. Not to worry. This is a bustling major city, but I was most interested in the walked in old Town, and will take a cab their next time to explore. Horse and buggy ride was very informative for first timers.
